Monica is a devoted mom to her energetic 8-year-old son and two adorable guinea pigs, Winnie and Bella. She loves spending her free time gardening, reading, cycling, and, of course, indulging in a bit of shopping! But more than anything, Monica has a natural gift for connecting with people. She truly enjoys listening to others and has a deep passion for supporting individuals with special needs and promoting children’s dental health.
Originally from Burma (Myanmar), Monica made Australia her home in 2014 to pursue her career in dentistry. Since then, she has built a reputation as a caring and dedicated dental professional. She’s always eager to learn and stay on top of the latest advancements in dental technology and treatments. For her, dentistry isn’t just a job—it’s a lifelong passion.
With a strong desire to provide personalized, family-focused dental care, Monica took a big leap in 2021 by opening her own dental practice on Brisbane’s Northside. Her goal was simple: to create a warm, welcoming space where patients of all ages feel comfortable and cared for. She takes great pride in serving families in Albany Creek and nearby areas, offering high-quality, compassionate dental care with a focus on long-term oral health.
Through her practice, Monica continues to make a meaningful impact, ensuring every patient receives the best care possible. After graduation from the University of Sheffield in the UK, Dr Zaw has been providing dental care to patients in Australia since 2015. He is passionate about keeping his skill updated, recently completing further education and training in implant dentistry, root canal treatment, surgical extractions and nitrous sedation.
Dr Zaw is excellent at working with patients with dental anxiety, taking extra time to understand and explain procedures to help patients feel at ease. Dr Zaw prides himself on providing his patient with the best possible dental experience, always striving for high standards and long-term results.
When not in clinic, Dr Zaw can be found in his activewear, playing badminton, soccer or hiking. He is also a keen photographer and he loves spending time with his puppy

Achieving registration as a Dental Practitioner in Australia in 2013, following success in the Australian Dental Council Qualification assessment exams, Monica boasts over 10 years of local dental experience. Presently, she actively contributes as a member of the Australian Dental Association, ADAQ, and holds affiliated membership with the Royal Australian College of Dental Surgeons (RACDS).
